At Velocitii, we believe in investing not only in the success of our clients but also in the growth and potential of our community. Recently, we had the privilege of supporting Rochester high school students in Hillside’s Work-Scholarship Connection (HWSC) program by donating three dozen laptops. This was the first wave, with about 25 more to be donated in November.
The donation was celebrated in a special ceremony recognizing the value of providing students with tools that empower them academically and prepare them for their future careers. Access to reliable technology plays a vital role in helping young people excel in school, gain valuable skills, and pursue meaningful opportunities.
This initiative also carries personal significance for Velocitii. One of our own team members, Senior Supervisor Izzy Julia, is an alumnus of the HWSC program and a graduate of Wilson Magnet School’s Class of 2015. Having experienced firsthand the impact of Hillside’s programs, Izzy expressed his pride in giving back:
